In the Father’s Arms
You see the forgotten.
Your loving arms are still enough.
You care for the abandoned, alone.
Your heart longs for us.
Your love’s calling out to us:
Your arms reaching out for us.
You’re the Father of the fatherless:
The comfort of the desolate.
There’s refuge in this family You have made,
And we find our home in the Father ’s arms.
Jesus, You came in humility:
Your life poured out in perfect love.
You spilled Your blood in agony.
You died, You rose for us.
Your Love made a way for us.
Your love offers grace to us.
You’re the Rescue for our brokenness,
Offering forgiveness for our every debt,
Your love made a way when Your mercy bled our death,
Now You lead us home to the Father’s arms.
So, Lord, I’m coming now,
Bringing You my heart.
I surrender now
Father to Your Arms.
Jesus, I believe.
Will You wash me, make me clean?
I hear You calling me.
I turn from wrong. Will You come in?
In love You now welcome me,
With joy singing over me.
You’re the love I’ve craved, the deep missing piece,
Offering forgiveness for the guilt that’s chased me.
You’re mercy that forever sets me free,
And I find my home in the Father’s arms.
You’re the Hope upon the horizon.
You’re the loving arms, the Home that beckons.
Our Bridegroom will come with the clouds for us
And soon we’ll be home in the Father’s arms.
Your Love Says ‘Come’
There’s no-one more tender than You, Father.
You’re the God of all comfort, and no arms are stronger.
Your heart is throbbing with such love.
Father, I hear Your love say, ‘Come’.
You’re here when we grieve. You are calling.
You wait with arms that ache when we’re hurting.
With mercy Father, You’re yearning,
And In Your arms, Father our hearts find home.
There’s love all around, all around, all around me.
Loving arms draw me close. They surround me.
Your Father heart’s inviting.
Here at the cross You’re waiting
To wash us, enfold us close to Your heart.
Father, with such compassion,
Father, with open arms,
You call us home.
Father, Your love says, ‘Come’.
So Lord, to Your love I’m surrendering
To Your way of healing, forgiveness, believing.
Here and now from all wrong I am turning,
Cos at the cross I find my heart’s way home.
All around, mercy flows, I’m washed by waves of grace.
As far as east is from the west, You take my stains away.
Your Father heart’s inviting.
Here at the cross You’re waiting
To wash us, enfold us close to Your heart.
Father, with such compassion,
Father, with open arms,
You call us home.
Father, Your love says, ‘Come’.
On the horizon faith can see
Your arms waiting for me.
I live for that day. Tears wiped away,
Washed in love so sweet.
Your Father heart is calling.
There in our Home You’re yearning
To hold me enfold me
For eternity.
You’ll comfort with such compassion,
There in Your waiting arms.
Soon we’ll be home
Oh, Lord Jesus come!
And in Your arms my Father,
I’ve found my greatest treasure.
All I have ached for and longed for
Is found in Your Love.
You give the living water.
You are where I belong.
So, Father, I come.
Father, Your arms are home.
Heal You With My Love
(An attempt to echo the Father’s heart)
A bruised reed I’ll not break.
When you’ve almost been snuffed out,
I’m here to breathe your heart awake.
You are precious in My eyes.
Yes, I am the Good Shepherd.
I want to restore you back to life.
In gentleness and tender love,
I wait to bring My healing touch
And I will lead you in My cords of love.
I will take that heavy weight. I’ll lift it off.
I will bend down with a caring, tender touch,
Then I will feed you.
I will hold you.
I will heal you with My love.
The Lord will not be mocked.
I have a bottle of your tears.
I am the Father Who sees.
My power is pure and strong.
I defend those who trust Me
And I ache to set you free.
With a love that is ferocious,
I vindicate with perfect justice.
I will lead you in My cords of love.
I will take that heavy weight. I’ll lift it off.
I will bend down with a caring, tender touch,
Then I will feed you.
I will hold you.
I will heal you with My love.
So won’t you come to Me?
I’ll wash you clean.
I’ll set you free.
Come unreservedly.
Surrender it all to Me.
Can you hear the Father’s heartbeat?
I am waiting here with comfort.
And I will lead you in My cords of love.
I will take that heavy weight. I’ll lift it off.
I will bend down with a caring, tender touch,
Then I will feed you.
I will hold you.
I will heal you with My love.
The Father’s Love
You’ve searched me out with Your love.
By One so great, I am known fully.
Pursuing around, above,
Your hand is laid over me
And, here in the place,
Endless love waits.
Your heart is yearning over me.
I’ve searched for so long,
Thirsting for home
And finally I begin to see
The Father’s love.
You’ve been waiting here for me.
The Father’s love.
Gave Your Son to wash me clean.
With arms wide open, You welcome me home
Surrendering now I come
To The Father I’ve longed for all along.
You spoke this world all awake:
Every bird’s bright song, nature’s joy-filled ways.
I was so tenderly made.
You care for me so faithfully
And, when I look up,
I find pure love,
Surprised by Your grace that aches for me.
I never dreamed
Of such mercy for me,
And thirsty I come now to receive.
The Father’s love
You’ve been waiting here for me.
The Father’s love,
Gave Your Son to wash me clean.
With arms wide open, You welcome me home.
Surrendering now I come
To The Father I’ve longed for all along.
And there on the cross,
Love took my place.
I broke Your heart,
But You gave Your best
And, by the blood of Your Beloved
Son, I come.
The barrier’s gone
The curtain’s been torn.
You offer forgiveness by the blood.
I turn back to home,
Ashamed and undone.
I look up to see my Father run.
The Father’s love.
You’ve been waiting here for me.
The Father’s love,
Gave Your Son to wash me clean
With arms wide open, You welcome me home,
Surrendering now, I come
To The Father I’ve longed for all along.
I’m yours now. Everything’s changed.
I’ve been born again, adopted, by love claimed.
And now I have been remade.
You’ve chosen me. You’ve called my name
And there’ll be a day,
This hope lights my way,
When I’ll meet my Saviour face to face.
Each tear wiped away,
Our Bridegroom will reign.
We will be caught up in Your embrace.
The Father’s love.
You are waiting there for me.
The Father’s love,
Gave Your Son to wash me clean.
With arms wide open, You’ll welcome me home.
At last I’ll be where I belong,
With the Father I’ve longed for all along
Pray the Name
I pray the Name of Jesus
Into this impossible.
From gazing at these obstacles,
I look up to You my Lord,
Cos I know that walls crash down
And I know that demons cower
When they hear Jesus’ Name.
I praise the great Name of Jesus:
Lord over all,
King of kings, victorious:
All the glory’s Yours.
So, Lord, I look up to You,
And, Lord, I ask You to move.
I ask You to break through.
I pray the Name of Jesus.
Let dry bones awake.
In this land so barren,
Will You move again?
Lord, will You revive?
By your Spirit, breathe life?
Father, send the rain.
I pray the Name of Jesus
For nations in the night.
They’ve never heard the Name of Jesus.
Oh, Father, send the light.
Send the labourers.
Lord let them hear Your word,
Cos only Jesus saves.
I pray the Name of Jesus for people that I love.
How They need Your forgiveness.
How They need to know Your touch.
Lord, will You to open eyes?
Lord, will You change their lives?
Cos only Jesus saves.
I believe in the mighty power of God.
I believe in the power of Jesus.
I believe in the wonderful, unstoppable, victorious power of the blood.
Nothing’s impossible for You.
Father, I know that You can break through,
So I come to stand in faith and pray for rain in Jesus’ Name.
I praise the great Name of Jesus:
Lord over all,
King of kings, victorious:
All the glory’s Yours.
So, Lord, I look up to You,
And, Lord, I ask You to move.
I ask You to break through.
Confidence
I was made by Your hand,
So only You can say who I am.
In Jesus, I’ve been redeemed.
You give me my identity.
I am precious to You:
Accepted, made new.
I’m under your wings.
You tell me I don’t need to fear.
So I can lift up my voice and sing.
Let my words be an offering.
I can walk forward with faith.
You’ll keep my heart safe.
You are right here with me.
A bruised reed You will not break.
I’m under wings. I’ll be okay.
Lord, You are my strength,
And Father, You give me confidence.
So I let go of the lies,
Cos they can never define me.
I’m precious in Your eyes.
You give me my identity.
I’m forgiven in Christ.
I am Yours. You are mine.
Your Spirit’s in me.
You’ve planned a future for me.
Cos I’ve been chosen, I’m blessed, redeemed.
In love You’ve adopted me.
You’ve called me to be Your own in mercy.
Your grace is lavished all over me.
Your love’s my security.
In Christ I’m forgiven. I am free.
Lord, You are my strength,
And Father You give me confidence.
And now I hear You calling me
To good works prepared for me.
You are sending,
Your love affirming.
You sent us into the word.
You told us to spread the word.
And You are with me.
Let Your Spirit fill me.
You will make a way,
And I will be amazed
At what You will do:
At all of the ways You’ll come through.
Mine
(An attempt to echo the Father’s heart)
You don’t need to be afraid.
You don’t need to fear their anger.
The cross has released your chains.
The truth is so much stronger.
You’re precious in My eyes.
You were made by design.
You’re known by the Father.
You’re treasured as Mine.
And you’d find such peace
If you could glimpse
The love in My eyes.
You were made in My image,
With beauty designed,
Washed clean by the blood:
So favoured, so loved.
Precious child, you’re Mine.
And now you don’t need to hide
Cos there’s something you can offer.
Use the gifts I’ve placed inside
And they will bring life to others.
You carry life and light
And I want to use your life.
Yes, sometimes they are unkind,
And things that they say may hurt you,
But only My words define,
For I am the One Who formed you.
They may not understand,
But you were made by My hand.
No, it’s not because of you,
But I have washed you.
I have bought you.
You’ve been chosen as Mine.
Now I’m rejoicing.
I’m protecting,
Defending My own
And holding you close,
For you are My child.
You’re known by the Father.
You’re treasured as Mine.
And you’d find such peace
If you could glimpse
The love in My eyes.
You’re were made in My image,
With beauty designed,
Washed clean by the blood:
So favoured, so loved.
Precious child, you’re Mine.
My Precious Child
(An attempt to echo the Father’s heart)
My precious little child,
Wrapped up in all these voices,
Your heart’s been pierced and sliced
By the father of lies.
I know You think you’ve been rejected,
But you’re in Christ. You’re loved. You’re Mine.
My beloved, you are Mine.
You are so loved by your Father, accepted in Christ.
I sing over you with delight.
Believe that you are My precious child.
You’re treasured in My heart,
Crowned with steadfast love and mercy,
Wrapped in everlasting arms,
Drawn with strong and loving chords.
To Me You are so very precious:
The beloved of the LORD.
My beloved, you are Mine.
You are so loved by your Father, accepted in Christ.
I sing over you with delight.
Believe that you are My precious child.
My beautiful child,
My beloved child,
No, don’t listen to those lies.
Securely You’re held,
Beloved of God,
You are loved and you are Mine.
You’re safe. You belong.
I quiet you with My song.
I am with you. It’s all right.
You’re free and alive.
You’ve been chosen as Mine.
Your identity’s in Christ.
And, yes, I know about the things you’ve done,
But there’s forgiveness in My Son.
Yes, you’ve been chosen. You are loved.
You were redeemed by the precious blood of my Son.
I’ve adopted you. Now you belong.
You can believe that you are My precious child.
My beloved, you are Mine.
You are so loved by your Father, accepted in Christ.
I sing over you with delight.
Believe that you are My precious child.
Loved
You are my God,
My Father.
I was made for You.
Now I know who I am.
I am in Christ. You’ve made me new.
Father I belong to You.
By the blood, I belong to You.
You are the God
Who sees me.
Your face shines over me.
You lay Your hand
Upon me.
I know You are surrounding me
With everlasting love
And favour from above.
Now I know
I am loved by my Father.
At the cross You brought me close to You.
I belong to You through Jesus’ precious blood.
I am Yours. I’m loved.
The beloved of the Lord
Is Held safely.
Your arms are very near
You go ahead,
Before me.
Your perfect love drives out my fear.
You’re the One Who comforts me.
You’re the One Who sets me free.
And You’re singing over me
In love and mercy.
You sing, cos I am Yours,
And Your heart is for me.
Oh, how You love me!
You sing Abba Father’s song.
Redeemed as Your precious child:
The apple of Your eye.
Now I know
I am loved by my Father.
At the cross You brought me close to You.
I belong to You through Jesus’ precious blood.
I am Yours. I’m loved.
Butterfly
I don’t need to be afraid.
You change my fear to faith.
You have cut through all the chains.
I’m new. I’m saved.
I’m no longer fear’s slave.
I’m Your child. I’m loved.
So faith steps forward
And I fly like a butterfly,
Cos I’m Your child,
And You’re right by my side.
My feet take flight
As fear meets the love in my Father’s eyes.
It’s gonna be all right.
I’m held by love,
Secure in Christ,
So I can fly.
The old has gone. It’s over now
Cos You’ve forgiven me.
By Your blood, changed by Your power,
I have been set free.
I’m no longer sin’s slave.
I’m Your child. I am loved.
So faith steps forward
And I fly like a butterfly,
Cos I’m Your child
And You’re right by my side.
My feet take flight
As fear meets the love in my Father’s eyes.
It’s gonna be all right.
I’m held by love,
Secure in Christ,
So I can fly.
I feel these wings unfold
As You make me whole,
With love so deep it heals.
You set me free to be
The person You made me.
Lies break as I believe
And I lift off the ground
In my Father’s hand.
On promises I’ll soar.
Your love drives out my fear.
You are with me here,
So I step forward
And I fly like a butterfly,
Cos I’m Your child
And You’re right by my side.
My feet take flight
As fear meets the love in my Father’s eyes.
It’s gonna be all right.
I’m held by love,
Secure in Christ,
And one day bright
Your light will shine. I’ll be by Your side.
Cos I’m Your child.
Your waiting arms are wide.
You’ll call us home.
Forever we’ll be with You as Your bride.
It’s gonna be all right.
I’m held by love.
My future’s bright.
So I can fly.
I fly with you.
It’s gonna be all right.
I’m held by love, secure in Christ.
So I can fly
