Do you ever long for love that will never let you down? That will bring deep inner healing, and hope, and true, lasting peace?

I’m so grateful for how much God has done in my life. How much His love is bringing increasing freedom and hope. Sometimes, you look back and realise you have come a long way. Things have happened that you never thought possible.
Now, as I’m preparing to share some songs and stories at a event in Cheadle on Thursday 23rd October, Lord willing, I’m grateful for how far the Lord has brought me. Grateful that I have something to share, because God has done so much!
Encountering the love of a Father Who brings such hope, and freedom, and peace. I wrote the song ‘Finally Found Home’ from that journey of finding my heart’s true home in the Father’s loving arms.
Finding increasing help with facing anxiety and fear. I remember writing the song ‘Over My Fear’ on a day when I was so, so worried about facing a situation I was dreading. As I prayed, I sensed a strong prompting to write a song, and that song sustained me as God helped me through.
I remember working on the song ‘Butterfly’. It started out as a song about finding inner healing in the Father’s love. It grew into a song about finding increasing freedom from fear, and ‘flying’ down fast roads I never thought I’d be able to drive on!
How He has been helping me to find increasing confidence in my identity in Him, and some of those thoughts grew into the song ‘Confidence’.
Seeing others come to know Him in far-away places through my little life. I began the song ‘Come And Tell Me’ on a mission trip to the Philippines, for a little girl selling carrier bags in a market. I’m still amazed that my life helps to reach precious people who are a bit like her.
And so much more.
As I pray and prepare to share songs in a few days, I’m so encouraged by what God has done. He has answered prayers that I could make music, and that it could encourage others. And I pray that it will.

I’m learning that He always does more than I could ask or imagine when I let Him in. Not always in the way I expect, but it’s always more. He is so real, and so amazing, and if you don’t know Him, you can find out more here.
You can sign up for the event at the Upper Room cafe in Cheadle (on Thursday 23rd October at 7.30pm) here.
