A friend and I were talking recently about anxiety.
And how we can get caught up in tangles of negativity and fear.
And how we can so often forget what God has told us.

And how powerful it is when we remind ourselves of what He has said.
About trusting in God’s promises, and reminding ourselves of them.
About writing out Bible verses and soaking in them often through the day.
And remembering what God has said.
‘”‘Fear not, for I am with you;’”‘ Isaiah 41:10a
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;’ Proverbs 3:5
Sitting down and making a list of words like these and many more…
And remembering how He has always come through in the past.
How many times He has been faithful.
How He has never ever let me down.
I’ve been pretty anxious lately- afraid and worried about various things.
But I think He wants me to hold onto His promises. To remember them. To remind myself of them. Because He never, ever fails.
When we are trusting in Jesus as Saviour and following Him as Lord (and you can do that today if you haven’t already), God’s promises give us unshakeable hope.
And filling my mind with His words will help my heart find peace.
