Isn’t it easy, particularly right now, to be affected by the things going on around us; by the news?
I know it is for me.
But something that helps me, in this crazy time and at all times, is to look up to the Lord.
I find it so helpful to remember the Lord in the midst of all the challenges of life: to lift my eyes to Him.
Below is a song I wrote to try to express love for the Lord.
He has been so good, so faithful, so wonderful, so kind. He has forgiven me of my sins because of what He did on the cross and now, trusting in Him and following Him, I have such hope for eternity (as do all who follow Him).
And I’m learning that lifting my eyes up to Him always changes how I see everything: satisfying my soul as I remember Who He is, and how sufficient He is for every need. 🙂
